Due to continued growth there is an opportunity to join a Global player in the Connectivity sector as an Applications Engineer for their Connected Mobility product offering.

You will be working in the Transportation team focused on Connected mobility solutions providing pre and post sales support for customers across the Digital Rail field.

This will involve new product development and design of bespoke electro-mechanical devices, putting together effective design packages that meet clients requirements, supporting the Sales team on customer visits, assisting the operational team by way of engineering documentation (drawings / Work instructions etc), and face to face support. You will also create bids and prices for the Transportation Team to ensure future work is won at or above pre agreed margin levels.

To be successful in your application you will hold an Engineering degree in an Electrical / Mechanical discipline or equivalent qualification / experience and have experience in 3D CAD design. Whilst it is not essential it would be beneficial if you are familiar with international rail standards and specifications.
