Job description

My client based in Kettering are currently seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join their organisation on a 12 month fixed term contract. They are a well known house hold brand who are using the most up to date technologies on the market.

We are looking for someone with the following experience:

  • The ability to understand and support the basics of networking, laptop/desktop, printers and mobile technology including Windows 7, IOS, LN, MS Office, SAP, SEP, VPN, others
  • Strong communication, and in particular skills in being able to explain technical problems in a way that is easily accessible to all people.
  • Who displays flexibility, determination and adaptability to collaborate to build relationships across the business.
  • Ability to understand software packages and related processes, to evaluate them regarding any area and to ensure their implementation
  • A proactive attitude, looking to consistently produce high quality work, tries to improve his/her results.
  • A full driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Great organisation skills, and the ability to multi-task
  • Available to work full-time for the duration of your placement, and the ability to work a shift pattern and occasional unsociable hours.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract with the option to start as soon as the 3rd of February.
