I am currently looking a Technical Support Physicist for a key client of mine located in East Sussex.

Qualification/Education/Certification

• Degree in physics
• Engineering-based knowledge

Experience

• Knowledge of vacuum gauges, valves and how to design and troubleshoot vacuum systems.
• Be able to fault find down to component level and determine the root cause for failure/damage in the associated product or application. Be able to propose solutions to problems discovered including design, process or application changes where required.
• Be able to produce reports on the findings to feed back to customers or the technology team. Experience in producing 8D reports advantageous.
• Be able, after familiarisation, to support customers and users of Edwards vacuum products in their use and operation.
• Able to support key customers through difficult investigations or problems. This will include agreeing realistic and effective actions with customers.
