Job description

Splunk Developer / Technical Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Splunk Developer / Technical Lead to join a global organisation located in Cambridge. The role will be offered as initial 6 month and is outside IR35.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the engineering effort to implement a Splunk based analytics solution processing logs from across the data estate. This will involve leading the technical design and development processes to meet product owner requirements and architectural strategy.

Key Skills:

  • Splunk SME
  • Experience mentoring or leading a small team
  • Understanding business requirements and translating them into solutions
  • AWS, Azure, SwiftStack and SAS logs is highly desirable
  • Experience with big data, ETL and cloud technology tools (Mulesoft, Talend, Redshift, HIVE, Spark etc.)
  • Experience of working within an agile environment
