WiFi Architect - Up to £120,000 p/a DoE - London

You will be extremely experienced within the understanding and background of WiFi.

You must be able to creatively apply your knowledge and expertise at a practical level to deliver tangible positive influence across the following activities in capacities ranging from direct ownership through to close support.

• Own Wi-Fi and mesh networking technical requirements derived from higher level product requirements.
• Provide Wi-Fi, mesh and LAN networking support to development and test teams.
• Support the operational analysis, assessment and reporting of technical Wi-Fi data obtained from telemetry and other tooling.
• Own / Support the design and architecture of Wi-Fi, mesh and LAN networking subsystems.
• Own the specification of measurement and telemetry solutions to expose KPIs over Wi-Fi, mesh and LAN network subsystems.

Skills and Abilities:

• Adept at recognising the "Art of the possible", construct clear and compelling vision around it and plot a practical, actionable course to attain. This will require significant creative qualities from the candidate.
• Decisiveness that maintain focus on the bigger picture whilst respecting the details. Operating at pace will be essential so it is important to strike a balance that favours forward motion and learning over getting too bogged down in the depths of detail.
• Can pitch to technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels within the organisation from hands on engineers up to chief executive
• Produce persuasive technical guidance on basis of pertinent factual data
• Can function across multiple stakeholders with potentially conflicting views to drive consensus and alignment employing compromise as appropriate
• Articulate clearly and succinctly both orally and in written documentation
