RDK-B Principal Architect - £800p/d - Fully Remote

You will be working a global broadcast media giant helping them to define broadband CPE software architecture and working with key internal and external stakeholders to define the priority of new initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent plus 11-15 years of experience or Master's Degree plus 8-10 years of experience in the industry with proven success; Master's Degree preferred; BS or MS in Engineering Sciences, Computer Science, Physics, Math or related area preferred.
• Subject matter expert in Linux.
• Subject matter expert in Wi-Fi technologies.
• Subject matter expert in internet protocols and broadband gateways.
• Subject matter expert in software architecture.
• Experienced C developer.
• Proficient in mathematics and statistics.
• Understanding of and experience with the full product development lifecycle, including functional and technical specifications, product use cases, user stories, implementation, QA processes, deployment and maintenance.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• A highly analytical mind with the ability to synthesize the outcome of a discussion concisely.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Keen attention to detail and high level of commitment.
• Proven track record of collaboration with product owners.

Desirable:

• Proficient in word processing and wiki use, spreadsheet use, visualization using graphs, presentation using slides.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
• Highly self-motivated.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
